ARAC

The purpose of the Army Rugby Advisory Committee (ARAC) is to ensure the continuation of the honored traditions of Army West Point Rugby while providing the essential support necessary to be the #1 rugby team in the nation, on and off the pitch.

The mission of the Army Rugby Advisory Council is to fully support the Coaches and Team whenever and wherever needed.

• Serve as a resource to the rugby team, coaches, parents, alumni, West Point administration, and all supporters of Army Rugby.
• Be a supportive resource to team coaching staff
• Conduct events that encourage greater alumni support
• Maintain a network to mentor and assist rugby players as cadets, as officers, and after their military careers
• Maintain a viable network of Army rugby supporters
• Encourage fan turnout to games
• Recognize outstanding contributions of Alumni, Friends, Parents & Fans to Army Rugby
• Support the team financially

• Communications: Inspiring the USCC, current Rugby Squad, Alumni, Old Gray, Parents, Family Friends & Fans alike, using new avenues of communications and social media.
• Fundraising: Within the guidelines provided by the ODIA and Head Coach.
• Support Coach’s agenda.
• Support Cadet development, major events, and trips.
• Support potential Army Rugby candidates to attend Army Rugby Summer Camps (when needed).
• Non-Financial Support: 
  • Support the Coaching Staff with  administrative support whenever and wherever possible.
  • Supporting the team at home and away and encourage attendance at home and away matches (opportunities for “mini-reunions”).
  • Conduct virtual tailgate parties and picnics.
  • Ensure alumni support for the Coach's Vision & Mission. 
• Recognize the achievements of the trailblazers of Army Rugby with the presentation of the Army Rugby “Brothers Legacy Award”
• Ensure proactive support to the current team through the Cadet Mentorship Program.
  • Encourage fan pride and support  by promoting the Army Rugby Fan Store.
